Exchange and Refund Policy

Exchange Policy: We will gladly exchange tickets for a different performance of the same show provided that seats are available and that the request is made at least 1 business day prior to the original ticketed performance. Contact the box office to request an exchange (box-office@theatreinthegrove.org).

Refund Policy: In general, we do not issue refunds. However, we may consider a refund in an extenuating circumstance. Please contact the box office with the reason for the refund.

If Theatre in the Grove cancels a show due to an extenuating circumstance, we will contact you to determine if you want your ticket exchanged for a future performance during the current season, your tickets refunded, or your ticket purchase be converted into a donation. We will exchange your tickets for a future performance during the current season at no charge. If you opt for a refund, be aware that the service fees charged by our ticketing partner are not refunded.  If, by the end of the season you still have unused tickets, those will revert to a donation.

Audience Policy

Theatre in the Grove strives to produce shows that are enjoyable to everyone in our audience with minimal audience distractions such as talking during a show, singing along, taunting the actors, taking flash photography, standing, getting up multiple times during the show, kicking the seat in front of them, being fidgety, and/or any other behavior that might distract those nearby. This applies to adults and children. If you are disruptive, we will ask for you to stop and if the behavior persists, we will ask you to leave.

Mature Themes

Some of our shows contain mature subject matter (it could include alcohol or drug use, strong language, violence, sexual situations) and parents should consider that before bringing their children.  Also, be aware that our shows often contain amplified music/sound and flashing lights which can be upsetting to babies.

Arriving for our Performances

Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes early to ensure that you are checked in and in your seats when the show starts. We promptly start at the designated showtime. If you arrive late, we may ask that you not enter the theatre until an appropriate time so as to not disturb the audience, or ask that you to initially take a seat in the back and change to your regular seat during intermission.

FlexPass Season Passes

We offer a FlexPass season pass. This is a flexible pass of 6 tickets for the cost of 5 that you can use in anyway that you want for a single season: all for one show, or one ticket for each of our shows, or any combination in between.

Sometimes,  individuals want to order a block of seats together and use multiple FlexPasses (from their family or friends). This is possible on our ticketing portal. Detailed instructions are here.
