Mary Webster-Walsh

Ghost of Christmas Past/Ensemble

Mary is originally from Central California and has a masters in music from The Boston Conservatory. She’s performed with companies such as PCPA/Theaterfest in Santa Maria, CA, The Goodman Theater in Chicago, IL and various companies in Boston, MA. More recently, Mary has traveled the country as a military wife of a JAG officer and is the mother to two beautiful girls. Her oldest daughter plays Kathy Cratchit in tonight’s performance, and it’s been a thrill for her to make a unique Christmas memory with her. Mary dedicates her performance to her youngest daughter, Annie, her niece, Rose, who inspires her, and to her phenomenal husband, Scott.

Matt Savino

Hugo Harty / Phantom / Ensemble

You may have seen Matt as the not-so-bright, injury prone Hero in Rustler’s Revenge at Brush Creek Playhouse in Silverton, OR. He is very excited to make his theater debut with Theater in the Grove. Another past favorite role would include playing the Cheese Grater/Ensemble in Beauty and the Beast, and playing in the Ensemble of Jesus Christ, Superstar with Pentacle Theater in Salem. The future is bright and you will surely see more of him in productions in and around the Portland area.

Michael Gross

Wine Merchant / Dick Wilkins / Phantom / Ensemble

Michael has participated in four total shows here at Theatre in the Grove. Some of his previous roles include Zacky Price in Big Fish and Ensemble in Assassins. He is very thankful for his experience in this show and is happy to be sharing it with everyone.

Nicolaus Rock

Bob Crachit

Nicolaus  returns for his second TiTG production. After a short (25+ year) break from acting he reemerged in last year’s TiTG production of A World War II Radio Christmas. He is happy to be acting alongside his daughter Devin in this production of Scrooge! Married for 18 years and Dad to 2 awesome kiddos, he enjoys running, watching Jeopardy, and baking bread (Ask him about his sourdough!).

Opal Rickard

Ensemble / Christmas Future

Opal is a senior at Hillsboro High School and has been in numerous productions as well as competing in acting at the national level. This is her first play with Theater In the Grove and she is very grateful for the director allowing her the wonderful chance to be involved in this corner of community theater.

Regan Henry

Urchin/Ebby/Youth Ensemble

Rea has been acting for about a year. She’s allways loved acting and plays but her favorite part about being in shows is definitely the community around you because everyone is so nice and supportive and funny. She would like to give a special thanks to her friends and family for supporting her acting and she wants them to know thank you very much! She thinks the audience will appreciate the show because it tells the story to not be rude to people and enjoy the Christmas spirit.

Ren Johns

Mary / Mrs. Pringle / Ensemble / Dance Captain

Ren is returning to theatre after a long break and is so excited to be in this show with her daughter, Claire. Favorite roles include Anne Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank, Raja in I Never Saw Another Butterfly, and Kate in The Taming of the Shrew.

Ron Hansen

Bissett/Mr. Fezziwig/Ensemble

Ron is glad to be back on the stage again.  Some of his favorite roles include The King in “King and I”, MacHeath in “3 Penny Opera”, Fagin in “Oliver”, Julius Caesar in “Julius Caesar”, The Fool in “Elizabeth the Queen”, Nanki-Po & Koko & The Mikado (3 different productions) in “The Mikado” and General Stanley (twice) in “Pirates of Penzance”. Ron has also spent 15 years on theater boards.  His first role with TITG was in 1977 as Beau in “Mame”.

Savannah Scott

Urchin / Youth Ensemble

Savannah is continuing to build her acting career in this musical. This is the second performance she has been in. Her first was the Queen of Hearts/Gyspy/Toy Soldier in “Babes in Toyland ” with STAGES Performing Arts Youth Academy last year. She hopes you enjoy the show and have a Merry Christmas!

Stan Yeend

Tom Jenkins

Stan began acting in 2005 appearing as Oscar in TITGs “The Odd Couple”. Since then he has appeared in several production in numerous venues. A few of his favorites include Pseudolous in “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum”, Uncle Fester in “Addams Family: The Musical”, Juror #3 in “12 Angry Men”, and Selsdon in TITGs production of “Noises Off” this summer. Pastimes include DOGS, golf, chess, poker, and he has just recently joined the Pickle ball cult. As always he would like to thank his lovely wife Leslie for her support of this theater obsession.
