Live theatre brings people close.  Actors, singers, dancers, production crew, and you the audience meet in an intimate, entertaining setting which enriches us all.  For the past year, Theatre in the Grove has missed this closeness.  We are eager to get back to the wonders of live theatre.

The good news is that once it is safe to do so, we are ready to resume the business of Theatre in the Grove. With assistance from Federal COVID Relief programs, some rental income (when Pacific University used our auditorium for a socially distanced classroom), and our successful fund-raising auction, we have kept the utilities paid and the lights on.

During this time while the stage is dark, we are investing in building maintenance and construction projects to keep our facility healthy and strong.  We are ready to go when the rest of the world is ready to return to live theatre.

Our annual meeting will be on June 13, 2021. It will be a virtual meeting. This also serves as an invitation for anyone interested in knowing the inner workings of running our non-profit business, maintaining our beautiful building, and mounting our quality productions to consider Board membership, usually a three-year term.  At the meeting you may nominate someone or nominate yourself.  Please consider it. If you have any questions about being on the board, please contact the Chair, Bud Reece, at chairperson@theatreinthegrove.org.
