Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Who can buy $5 Tickets?
A. Anyone who gets food stamps through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and has the Oregon Trail Card.
Q. What is the difference between enrolling in your Arts for All program or just showing my Oregon Trail Card when I purchase my ticket at the box office?
A. Mainly, it is a difference of convenience for you. By enrolling in our free Arts for All program, we verify your eligibility once and then you can buy your discounted tickets online, in advance of the performance, and not have to show your Oregon Trail card each time at the box office.
Q. How do I enroll in your Arts for All program?
A.It’s easy! Just take a photo of the front & back of your Oregon Trail card, covering up any personal information (e.g. card #, security code, etc) other than your name on the card, and email it to box-office@theatreinthegrove.org. In the email provide your full name, address, and phone number. We will set up a free online account for you and email you instructions on how to access it. Whenever you want to attend one of our performances, the special Arts for All ticket rate will be available for you to use.
Q. Can I buy my Arts for All ticket online?
A. Yes! See the above question and answer.
Q. How many tickets can I buy for $5 each?
A. Two per Oregon Trail Card per performance.
Q. Where do I get $5 tickets?
A. Either enroll in our program in advance and buy them online, or visit our box office on the day of performance to purchase your ticket in person.
Q. How do I buy the tickets?
A. If you enroll in our program, you will buy them with a credit card (not a SNAP or Oregon Trail Card). Or you may pay with a credit card or cash at our box office.

A. Yes, because we are a non-profit we ask all of our patrons to pay for the nominal credit card processing fee. The amount of the fee is displayed prior to you purchasing your ticket(s).
Q. Which events have $5 tickets?
A. Most performances qualify. The box office will inform you if a particular show does not qualify.
