Lisa McCoy

Reed 4

Lisa is excited to play flute and piccolo again in the pit orchestra again at TITG. Last year, she played flute and piccolo for the production of Assassins and this year she played oboe and English horn for the summer production of The Little Mermaid. Prior to moving to Oregon in 2018, Lisa lived in Illinois and played in the city orchestra for 10 years, numerous musical productions, a wind quintet and other ensembles.

Matt Davis

Trombone

Matt is often found behind a French Horn in pit orchestras and other groups when his duties as a husband, father, and software architect allow. An evil twin occasionally shows up to play trumpet, aux percussion, and for Annie, “Trombone-with-a-K”. He is thankful for his family’s support, TITG’s commitment to live pit orchestras, and for the opportunity to play his 26th show!

Shannon Nelson

Bass

Shannon Nelson (bass) started his performing life as a 5 year old singing loudly for everyone at a church potluck when he really was supposed to be eating. From there he spent time in several choirs, while also dabbling with piano, violin, and kazoo. He found success with the bass guitar later in life and has been entertaining his family and friends with loud low frequency noises ever since. He has recently been seen in rock&roll groups and blues jams, a couple of swing orchestras and jazz quartets, and a few gigs with a Sinatra impersonator. Shannon supports his artistic habits as a software engineer for AMD, and thanks his ever patient wife for her love and support.
