Cast of Annie

Max Powell (Bert Healy/Ensemble) is delighted to be appearing in Annie. Recent Theatre in the Grove credits include Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour), Big Fish (Will), and Assassins (Lee Harvey Oswald). Max has also performed with HART, Portland State, Broadway Rose, and Twilight Theatre Company. He dedicates his performance to those attending their first musical today.

Nick is thrilled to return for his third consecutive holiday production with TiTG. Last year, he captivated audiences as Bob Cratchit in Scrooge! The Musical. His previous performances include multiple roles in A World War II Radio Christmas, as well as numerous parts in middle and high school productions such as Oliver!, The Music Man, Once Upon a Mattress, and many more. Nick is especially excited to share the stage with his daughter Devin for the second time in Annie, a cherished family favorite. Married for 19 years (Love you Stephanie!) and a proud father of two wonderful children, Nick enjoys running, LEGO, watching Jeopardy, and baking bread—be sure to ask him about his sourdough!

Sarah Schibel is excited and honored to be a part of her first ever Theatre in the Grove production with this fun, energetic cast and hardworking crew! When she’s not making a fool of herself on stage, Sarah works as a UX Engineer at Oregon Mutual Insurance and production manager/actress with MCO Productions and most recently performed as a daughter in GFUs production of Pirates of Penzance. Sarah wants to extend her thanks to her family and friends and her MCO Team for letting her be stolen away for a few months. 😉
