About Us
We are one of Oregon’s oldest community theatres. We’re located in scenic and historic Forest Grove, Oregon.
Combining Art & Education Since 1969
In 1969, a creative group of friends with a desire to act pulled together a musical and performed it on a grade school stage. Forest Grove residents responded overwhelmingly and Theatre in the Grove was born.
It is now one of Oregon’s oldest community theatres. We are celebrating over 50 years in the historic Star Theatre, built in 1912.
About Us
Theatre in the Grove is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and donations made to it may be tax deductible. It is incorporated in Oregon (bylaws are here). We conduct an annual meeting each year between May 1 and June 30.
