Cast of A Year with Frog and Toad

Bel is an 8th grader at Catlin Gabel. She is excited to be doing her first show at Theater in the Grove! She was most recently seen in Seussical Jr at HART as a Bird Girl. Other favorite roles include Tommy in Matilda Jr and Cinderella’s Mother in Into the Woods Jr. Outside of theater, Bel enjoys reading and hanging out with her friends. She would like to thank her family for their support and for doing all the driving, and the rest of the cast for being incredible friends.

Caroline is delighted to participate in Theatre in the Grove’s production of A Year with Frog and Toad. Now a freshman at Tualatin High School, she got her theatrical start at Twality Middle School with lead roles in two productions. She made her debut in community theatre at the HART, portraying Gertrude McFuzz, in their production of Seussical Jr. Caroline is also a talented visual artist and has been exploring improv through her high schools team. She is grateful for this opportunity and would like to thank her parents who made it all possible.

Logan attends the Arts and Communications Magnet Academy where he is the JR thespian vice president. Some of Logan’s favorite roles include Mr. Mayor (Seussical Jr) Pugsley Addams (The Addams Family), Bruce Bogtrotter (Matilda JR), and Young Simba (Lion King JR.) Logan has been doing theater since he did his first community production at age 5. A Year With Frog and Toad marks Logan’s 17th show, and he will be seen next in The Lightening Thief at HART. Logan also enjoys making props for shows, filmmaking and playing the drums for jazz band.

Maddie is 13 years old, in the 8th grade, and currently attending Banks Middle School. When not on the stage she enjoys playing soccer and being with friends. After doing various camps at Lovegood in Beaverton OR, she did her first stage production at HART as an ensemble member in Seussical jr. Her thanks go to her friends for always supporting her endeavors. Her music teacher Mrs. Evans for helping her develop a love and passion for music and singing. And her parents, for always being there, either awkward vocal warmups or giving her rides, Maddie is very grateful for them.

Samantha is 17 years old and in 11th grade at Valor Christian. She was thrilled to hear Don, Kathleen, and Marsha would be doing A Year with Frog and Toad, and truly believes this show may be one of the most unique and special theater experiences she’s ever had! Samantha’s favorite roles include Ms. Honey in Matilda Jr. (HART) and Susan in Narnia (Valor Performing Arts). While not onstage, Samantha enjoys to crochet and spend time with her friends and family. She would like to thank her parents both for their support and the endless drives to rehearsals!
