Amelia Segler (Judy) is a Portland-based vocalist and actor, who has performed with many theaters across the Portland Metro area. This past summer, you may have seen her onstage in Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella with Broadway Rose. Previous credits include: Kelly Manning in The Mad Ones (Twilight Theatre), Camelot (Lakewood), and The Witch in Big Fish(Theatre in the Grove). Amelia studied vocal performance at the University of Portland. She daylights as a cost engineer at a general contractor in Hillsboro.

Aurea Taylor (Ensemble) is thrilled to be part of this hilarious musical after several years break from the stage. Last time she was at TITG, she was behind the scenes as the Stage Manager for Honk Jr. Most recently, Aurea played Elephant (Willems cast) in BCT’s Elephant and Piggie. Favorite roles include TJ/GJ in Dearly Beloved (Mask and Mirror), Linda in Living out (Mask and Mirror) and various ensemble roles with the Light Opera of Portland. She would like to thank her husband for picking up the pieces while she was busy at rehearsals!

Brittany Ranasighe

Brittany (Kathy) is thrilled for her first show at theatre in the grove! She began acting at age 10 in her local children’s theatre and loves how community theatre brings people together for a common goal. She Most recently performed at Beaverton Civic theatre in elephant and piggie’s “we’re in a play!” Favorite past shows include honk!, godspell, into the woods, the pajama game, rumors, and Ramona quimby. Brittany teaches for music together resonate and keeps busy with her 3.5 year old. Much love to my family, Kaveen and Krishantha! This show is dedicated to my mom- who introduced me to 9-5 the musical over ten years ago – and all the other women out there doing the most!

Elise Byrne is so excited to be back onstage at TITG! You may recognize her from the McDonalds drive through or as Samantha Brown in The Mad Ones, Jenny Hill in Big Fish, Jo March in Little Women: the Musical, and more. Byrne is thrilled to be a part of this project and wants to thank her friends and family for all the support!

Emily Marcus

Emily Marcus (Ensemble) – Emily is very excited to make her musical and Theatre in the Grove debut in the company of this talented cast and crew. Despite her very limited theatrical experience, the 9-to-5 story hit close to home in a way that made her take a chance in auditioning. When not on stage, she is a work-from-home mom of two kids and a regional accounting manager. She is also secretary of the board at HART Theatre, where she made her acting debut last summer in the ensemble of Native Gardens.
Emily would like to thank Audrey and Derek for letting their mama sneak away to the theatre the past few months, and her amazing husband, Daniel, for keeping the kids alive, the house clean-ish, and supporting her passions.

Erin is excited to be making her return to the Theatre in the Grove stage! Some past favorite roles include Alice Beane (Titanic: The Musical), Fred (Once Upon a Mattress), Sara Jane Moore (Assassins), Ms. Hannigan (Annie), Rona Lisa Peretti (… Spelling Bee), and Woman (Songs for a New World). Her next project is as the musical director for The Last Five Years at Sherwood STAR Society. Many thanks to the cast and crew for supporting her through an inconvenient injury and her insanely amazing family for — well — everything.
