The show is an outrageously hilarious race to get Norleen Sprunt from Alabama to her son’s wedding in California–without taking air transportation. Savannah Sprunt Fairchild Honeycutt agrees to get her Mama to her brother’s wedding in only four days! Hayley Quinn, Norleen’s future daughter-in-law, arrives unannounced to join in the road trip as a perfect way to bond with her new family members. Every conceivable—and inconceivable—mishap occurs along the way. The three women meet a slew of unforgettable characters and learn a lot about each other along the way. This ferociously funny comedy will have you laughing your way across the country and all the way down the aisle!
The show has a flexible cast size and can be produced with as few as 2 men and 6 women with actors portraying 24 total roles with ages ranging from 20 to 99. The cast consists of 3 major female characters—Norleen, Savannah, and Hayley—the Mama, the daughter, and the soon-to-be daughter-in-law.
